This is a great day out and a fantastic challenge to you the photographer. This is an informal day for the club, bring along your friends and family. At the end of the day each member should have a set of photos that best capture some of the colour and energy of this vibrant event.
The event starts at 2:00pm on Sun 11th July. Hope to see you all there.
The EAF site describes it as follows; “A host of leading international circus acts descend on Letterkenny’s Town Park for the annual Earagail Arts Festival Global Village Fete. Alongside live Afrobeat and Highlife from the Yoruba band Oleku in the Wee Festival Big Top, the circus really does come to town with performances by Montreal’s Les Parfait Inconnus, Tumblecircus’ Nouvelle Carny and Kerry’s one and only Italian – Gaelic circus act the Fanzini Brothers, whilst on the park lawns the hugely popular village games provided by Ladder 13, In Your Space Walkabout and storytelling by Compagnie Move spread out like a picnic at the feet of the food, craft and organic growers stalls of the Village Market. An ideal opportunity to sample the fabulous Les Parfait Inconnus before their full indoor shows on Monday 12th at An Grianán Theatre”
