Another great turnout greeted our guest speaker Fergal Megannety. Fergal gave an insight to his love of photography whilst allowing members a chance to get to see his fine work up close. It was an enjoyable night and to have 30 members turn up on a warm summer’s evening was great to see.
The dates for the next two meetings are the Mon 9th and Mon 30th August at 7:00 at the RCC. I will confirm details of the meetings over the next week or so.
Don’t forget the Circus on Sun 11th July at the Town Park, it should be a fun day out with huge opportunity for some fine photography.
The Earagail Arts festival has so much to see and do, try and visit as many events as you can over the fortnight, not least the Imaging Donegal exhibition at the RCC during the month of July. Many of you may have entered photographs in their competition earlier in the summer so if you get a chance to get along and see the photographic talents of Donegal photographers on show.
It’s an opportune time to thank Shaun Hannigan and the staff of the RCC for the ongoing use of their fine facilities. I look forward to building on the relationship between the club and the RCC well into the future.
